TINTIN AND SNOWY: THIS TIME NOTHING WILL STOP US!

Amy Shiver is a New York artist and portraitist that works in oils and watercolor. This piece, based on the  titular protagonist of The Adventures of Tintin,  shows Tintin and his constant companion Snowy hard at work solving The Mystery of Red Rackam's Treasure. The comic series to which this piece pays homage was created in 1929 by the Belgian cartoonist Hergé. Tintin, a reporter and adventurer, travels the world with his dog Snowy to unravel a never-ending array of mysteries and conspiracies. The character was introduced in Le Petit Vingtième, a weekly youth supplement to the Belgian newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle.
