Mahogany with Leather Inlay

This late eighteenth-century bureau plat in the Louis XVI manner was acquired from a private estate in London. It has the original tooled leather top over three drawers, the central drawer with guilloche inlay and brass escutcheons, the reverse side with faux drawers, the whole raised on square tapering legs terminating in
their original brass sabots.
