LLOYD LOOMÂ ARMCHAIR
Handwoven Wickerwork Armchair 1990
Designed by Jim Lusty in 1930 and imported from London, the Lloyd Loom East India is a classic armchair that harkens to the sunset days of the British raj. These wickerwork (or rushwork) chairs were woven in the traditional manner from pliable natural willow coated in resin, making them perfect for outdoor applications. These chairs were a regular feature at cricket test matches during the waning of the Raj.
